EDNA LUCILE PYLE

Before she was Edna Greet she was Edna Lucile Pyle and had an older sister Florence and a younger brother James Harold.  In these pages we will learn more of her girlhood before she married Frank.

Within these pages I will post documents pertaining to her life and pictures of her family.  When I find stories about her side of the family I will post them here

My grandchildren love this picture of a frontierswoman wearing a revolver in a holster.  The universal question is, "Did she really know how to use that?"  I can only say, "Probably.  She lived way out in the country."   Truth be told,  its my favorite picture of her too.  It shows personality.  It shows me that she was not afraid to get dirty or be physically active.  It shows me she was happy and most likely prepared for what ever came her way.  It tells me she was adventurous.  I'm inspired to learn to shoot a gun and live where I can go exploring and hiking.
